So two things have just totally rocked my musical theater-loving world:

a) I just watched Glee.
IT WAS SO GOOD. Like, I can't even get over it.  Everyone was so talented, and Lea Michele even more so than I remembered from Spring Awakening.  But Matthew Morrison didn't sing...yet. D:  I hope he does later. He has the voice of a pop star sensation angel.
And "Don't Stop Believing" was frigging amazingggg.

b) "In the meantime, Hugh Jackman will be working with Anne Hathaway in the big screen adaptation of the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical Carousel."
I think I just peed my pants a little. I frigging love Carousel. (And West Side Story.  But it that's remade I'm going to punch a baby.) And I also happen to love Hugh Jackman. And Anne Hathaway.  IF THIS INFORMATION IS TRUE I WILL BE FIRST IN LINE TO SEE THIS MOVIE.

I can die happy.

(But I don't have any Glee icons yet.)

I have been meaning to write for frigging evar but I keep getting distracted by icons.  And Lost.

So this is my half-assed entry.  AND WTF DOES LJ KEEP SAYING IT'S JUNE??  I ONLY WISH IT WERE TRUE. 
I'm having trouble typing.

Okay I haven't posted in like 80 years and only have like two entries that aren't private and PMS-y.

Not that I'm going to fix that with this piece of crap haha. Oh well.

HAY SO GUESS WHAT.

I got my shiiiine treatment the other day. Now my hair is no longer bushy and untameable! How cool is that? Yeah. Except the actual treatment really felt like I was getting honey poured on my hair in mass amounts. Which was not so cool. And I was having lady problems, so that wasn't cool either. But then we went to the Asian Food Market and got lots of POCKY! So that was better. My brother demanded a box of GIANT Strawberry Pocky. Not regular. GIANT. I'm trying desperately to get people to not eat them before our Nebraska trip XD.

And then yesterday I went to the mall with Leah, which I haven't done in a loooooong time. We went shopping for presents for Marshall and Sam for their birthdays,and I forgot ALL ABOUT SHANNON OMG. But I'll get her something in Nebraska so no worries. Soooo for Sam I got some Captain Jack Sparrow incense (XD), and a Foster's Home for Imaginary friends cell phone chain thingy. And I guess I'll just have to make her a kickass incense holder. Cause she so doesn't have one, haha. And then I got myself a Naruto sketchbook (I don't even watch Naruto, but whatever), a LoZ Zelda shield thingy pin, and a SUPER SOFT Roy Mustang blanket. I know, you're all jealous. It was an impulse buy! But oh-so-soft. So that is good. XD (and I definitely do not believe that if he were a real person I would jump his bones. Definitely not.)

So then we went dress shopping with my mom. The dresses--so much better than last season. They weren't like, potato sacks this time!! And we took model!pictures. Hahahaha, oh man, was it fun. Full of awesome. So yeah. Then I bought the Hercules soundtrack from iTunes because I just couldn't resist anymore XD.

Okay. A couple things:

FIRST: You will not believe what we got in the mail today! That's right--a WII. The mother of all game systems. Up until like, 2 weeks ago when we ordered the wii without my knowledge, we weren't even allowed to own a game system! Not even a GameBoy. So this kind of came as a surprise to me. Apparently, we also have Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on its way here. And another WiiMote (or whatever they're called. I will call it the WiiMote because that sounds cooler than Wii Remote or whatever).

SECOND: I submitted an application to hat_sorting, and I spent forever filling it out. And I was pretty confident that it was perfect, you know, no mistakes, I proofread the thing and posted it at like 1 in the morning. But then I looked at some other applications. Some people were, in my opinion, quite detailed, but were "muggled" (made to resubmit) because they weren't elaborate enough or there wasn't enough information to sort them into a house. Then, I just tried to post my app into my journal and it got all screwed up!! Like, there was html all over the place. Italicize here, lj-cut there! On hat_sorting's FAQ, it was all, DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING ON THE GIVEN APPLICATION'S HTML!!! So I didn't. But now I'm worried that I'm going to be muggled or squibed or something because my html was fucked up and I wasn't elaborate enough with my answers!

I'm a worry wart, I know. At least I have the wii?
